Coming Soon to Your Mailbox:
New Pharmacy Info & ID Card
Be on the lookout for communications directly from CVS Caremark. A welcome letter—including your new ID card—will be mailed to your home mid June.
Effective July 1, 2025, your prescription drug coverage provider will transition from Capital Rx to CVS Caremark. This change also includes mail order and specialty drug delivery services, which will now be managed by CVS Caremark.
In the meantime, continue using Capital Rx for your pharmacy needs and Optum for mail order prescriptions. Additional details will be shared soon to help ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
View the video below highlighting the digital tools available through CVS Caremark—but please note, these tools won’t be accessible until the change takes effect on July 1, 2025.
