February Is Heart Health Month
Supporting a healthier heart through programs available for you!
February is a time to raise awareness about cardiovascular health and encourage proactive steps to support a healthy heart all month long. Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of illness, but many risk factors can be managed through regular care, healthy habits, and stress management.
To support heart health, we offer a range of programs designed to help individuals take a preventive and well‑rounded approach to wellness. Preventive care checkups help identify potential risks early, while our weight loss programs support healthy lifestyle changes that can improve heart function and overall well‑being. In addition, MindCheck provides tools and resources for stress reduction—an important, often overlooked factor in heart health. Together, these programs empower individuals to care for both their physical and mental health, not just in February, but year‑round.
Important AbleTo program update:
AbleTo is now part of Optum Behavioral Care, supported by Athena Health. If you are currently engaged in the AbleTo program, you will continue to receive the care and support you need without interruption. About one week before your next appointment, you should receive an email with instructions on how to sign up for the new patient portal.
