Mission Statement

The Bucks and Montgomery County Schools (BMCS) Health Care Consortium consists of public school entities in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Labor and Management have joined together in a unique, self- funded arrangement as a large group purchaser of medical insurance, prescription drugs and other employee benefits. The mission of the Consortium is to provide access to high quality health care for our members in the most cost-effective manner possible. We collectively strive to improve health and wellness for our members through transparency and education.

Bensalem Township School District

The Bensalem Township School District strives to be the premier educational institution in Bucks County, providing a first-class education for students to discover a passion for learning while designing and achieving a personal vision of success. Bristol Township School District

Bucks County Intermediate Unit #22

The Bucks County Intermediate Unit #22 (Bucks IU) is a regional educational service agency that collaborates with the students and schools of Bucks County to initiate, design, and deliver exemplary leadership, teaching, and learning. Colonial School District

The mission of the Colonial School District is to educate and graduate citizens who are able and committed to fulfilling their potential and maximizing their contribution to society. If this is your organization, reach out to your plan administrator with any questions.

Methacton School District

The Methacton School District has long enjoyed a tradition of excellence in education and community involvement in our schools. The District, formed in 1969, was created by a 10-year merging of the school districts that had previously served the townships of Lower Providence and Worcester. Morrisville School District

New Hope-Solebury School District

The New Hope-Solebury School District takes pride in its commitment to excellence. We strive to inspire and empower our students to become passionate, confident, life-long learners with the skills and strength of character to contribute to a diverse and ever-changing world. Palisades School District

The Palisades School District is a community of learners. Working collaboratively, we will provide a safe, enriching environment wherein all students can achieve college and career readiness and demonstrate leadership. The Quakertown Community School District’s mission is to promote its 4,800 students to become lifelong learners, who are able to pursue academic excellence, exhibit personal responsibility, provide service to the community, and respect oneself, others and the environment. Cozen O’Connor is a full-service law firm of more than 800 attorneys in 31 cities across two continents, with nationally recognized practices in litigation, business law, and government relations, and Cozen O’Connor attorneys have experience operating in all sectors of the economy. Cozen attorneys Fred J. D’Angelo, Jr. and Kelly T. Kindig advise the Consortium on all matters related to its business. Fred and Kelly concentrate their respective practices on the representation of management in labor and employment law. Their experience includes representation of employers in both traditional labor relations matters and employment litigation and counseling. This experience includes representing public and private employers in a broad array of industries on collective bargaining negotiations, grievance arbitrations, and labor contract administration, as well as employment litigation and counseling under such state and federal statutes as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.

Oswald Companies

FUND CONSULTANT
Founded in 1893, and employee-owned, Oswald is one of the nation’s largest independent insurance brokerage and risk management firms. Through our family of partner companies, our “One Oswald“ approach helps individuals and businesses identify, reduce and manage their risks through our collaborative business units: property and casualty, employee benefits, personal client management, retirement plan services and life insurance. The Oswald team is led by Steve Baltas, Janet Lukacs, Medhat Kaldas, Allison Crowe, John Kertis, Traci Collins and a variety of specialists in data analytics, communications and compliance. As Fund Consultant, the Oswald team advises the Consortium on benefit-related issues, strategic planning, compliance, conducts all financial analyses, and helps to oversee the communication and well-being initiatives on behalf of the Consortium members.

AMCA Systems, LLC

FUND ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER
AMCA Systems, LLC provides entities in the Consortium a solution to handle enrollment, billing, retiree billing and COBRA administration through its Connected Benefits software. The system has been customized to adapt to the needs of the entities and has full integration with all major health insurance organizations.
AMCA Systems, LLC also provides financial accounting services to the Consortium in connection with all aspects of self-funded health insurance groups.
AMCA Systems, LLC staff works with the entities within the Consortium to meet their individual and Consortium-wide financial and administrative needs.
