Gives access to cost-sharing liability for covered items or services. The transparency in coverage final rule requires group health plans and health insurance carriers to disclose this information.
How will the cost estimator tool work?
- Members logs into Aetna member website
- Search for a provider or select “Find Care and Pricing”
- Select the “Estimate Costs” link
- Arrive on the Cost Estimator Tool landing page
- Select “Doctors by name” or “Get Costs Estimates” tile
- Search for a provider or service in the Cost Tool Estimator
